Silent night on SILENTWORLD
“How about a digestif on the foredeck?” suggests the host. The party agrees immediately and unanimously. The elegant group stands up from an immaculately set table which has clearly been the scene of a fine dining experience to leave the cocoon of the saloon out into the summer night.
As they make their way forward on the deck, each person gazes to the horizon absorbing the vastness of a tranquil ocean which surrounds them. They are truly alone unable to see any lights of land or other yachts.
The same can’t be said for the sky. Billions upon billions of stars twinkle from where the sky meets the ocean in each and every direction. It brings goosebumps to the skin not because it is cold – quite the opposite – but as it is a sight rarely seen for busy city dwellers.
A stewardess delivers each guest their preferred evening cocktail and the group falls silent. There is a faint sound of movement in the water as dolphins swim just outside the yacht’s pool light – they are herding the smaller fish attracted the deck light before calmly feeding.

It is the perfect ending to a flawless day of diving, fishing, snorkelling and swimming in complete privacy as M/Y SILENTWORLD is the only yacht on this section of the Great Barrier Reef on Australia’s east coast. It is a level of experience unanticipated.
