Named after the ancient Sequoia tree, SEQUOIA is a 30.5-metre handcrafted wooden motor-sailer built to explore the vast and biodiverse waters of Indonesia. Designed over four years as a bespoke heirloom yacht, she brings together traditional craftsmanship and modern marine technology to offer a safe, low-impact cruising experience through the Coral Triangle — one of the richest marine environments on Earth.
Accommodating up to six guests, SEQUOIA features three beautifully detailed suites: the Sky Suite on the upper deck with panoramic ocean views, and two guest cabins — the Island Suite and Ocean Suite — which can be arranged as either twin or double configurations. Each suite includes refined touches such as en suite bathrooms, teak and rattan finishes, and Marshall Bluetooth speakers. Across the yacht, guests can unwind in a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces including the sky deck, a cosy library room, alfresco dining areas, and the Great Room — an open-air main salon designed to make the most of the surrounding sea breeze.
SEQUOIA is powered by low-consumption engines and Doyle sails, and operates with silent running capabilities under sail. She eliminates single-use plastics and adheres to EPA Tier 2 and 3 emissions standards, making her one of the most environmentally conscious yachts in the region. As the only yacht in Indonesian waters built to meet US Coast Guard safety regulations, she offers peace of mind as well as comfort. Her full Indonesian crew of 12 — including a cruise manager, butler, and dive instructor — brings extensive knowledge of the region’s hidden anchorages, vibrant reefs, and cultural highlights.
A certified PADI dive centre, SEQUOIA is fully equipped for underwater exploration, with nine full scuba diving sets including gear for children. Her tenders provide access to secluded bays and top dive sites where guests may encounter whale sharks, manta rays, and over 1,000 species of tropical fish. Onboard chefs prepare fresh à la carte menus tailored to each guest, using locally sourced ingredients and a curated wine list featuring vintages from Bordeaux and Napa Valley. Families are warmly welcomed, with a thoughtful selection of toys, games, and junior-sized paddleboards and kayaks.
SEQUOIA sails year-round to some of Indonesia’s most captivating destinations, including Raja Ampat, Komodo, the Banda Islands, Misool, Triton Bay, Solor Alor, and Sumbawa. Each journey is tailored to your interests, whether you’re seeking a milestone celebration, a family adventure, or a quiet escape into one of the world’s last great wild places.
