The World Polo Championship is held once every three years and 86 countries have the possibility to participate after competing in the qualification rounds. The eight best international teams that qualified successfully will then compete for the World Champion crown.
Between the 21st and the 29th October 2017 the Sydney Polo Club in Richmond welcomes teams from Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, USA, England, Spain and India.
This tournament is represented again by the FIP (Federation of International Polo).
