WORLD SUPERYACHT AWARDS 2019

The World Superyacht Awards recognise and congratulate the astonishing innovation and inventiveness demanded by the design, construction and engineering of the world’s finest luxury yachts. This year’s awards took place in London from 16 – 18 May and Ocean Alliance were extremely honoured to represent two out of the three finalists for the ‘Voyager’s Award’ as their MYBA central agent for Charter.

The Voyager’s Award is presented to the yacht (in the view of the judges), that completed the most stimulating cruise during 2018. The two nominees that Ocean Alliance represented were SILENTWORLD (39m) and BELUGA (35m), and the voyages told tales of cruising the remote Coral Sea off the Queensland Coast of Australia.

Unluckily, SILENTWORLD and BELUGA missed out on winning the award this year, however, we would love to congratulate the winner, 56m Perini Navi ROSEHEARTY. ROSEHEARTY went well beyond the bounds of everyday cruising as she crossed the Drake Passage tip of South America and into Antarctica.

Ocean Alliance feels very proud to represent both SILENTWORLD and BELUGA along with 2 Australian itineraries and would like to thank the incredible captains, crew and Owners for submitting their award entry.
