Designed in 2012 by Barcelona-based yacht designer Marcelo Penna, LAMIMA draws inspiration from traditional Indonesian phinisi lines while incorporating subtle enhancements for superior strength, stability and performance. Her sail wardrobe is optimised to harness the breezes of the archipelago, offering the romance of true sailing paired with the sophistication of a modern yacht.

Her interiors are contemporary yet warm, enriched with Asian accents throughout the artwork, furnishings and finishes. Open-plan social areas create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, while accommodation for 14 guests is arranged across seven spacious en suite staterooms. On deck, there’s ample room to unwind in the sun or retreat beneath the bimini-shaded lounge, perfect for al fresco dining or a massage delivered by onboard spa therapists.

LAMIMA also invites exploration. As a certified PADI dive centre with two instructors on board, she caters to both first-time and advanced divers keen to experience the extraordinary biodiversity of Southeast Asia’s waters. Adding depth to every journey is the yacht’s resident guide — a cultural expert whose knowledge of the region has led to work with National Geographic, offering guests an immersive connection to the landscapes, stories and traditions of this extraordinary part of the world.
