About SILVERTIP

Launched in June 2001, SILVERTIP is a high-performance sloop designed by Dubois and built by Yachting Developments in Auckland. She made history as the first yacht to win both the International Superyacht Society’s Best Sailing Yacht and Showboats’ Best Sailing Yacht awards in her class. In 2012, she claimed the NZ Millennium Cup, where, despite being one of the smallest yachts in the fleet, SILVERTIP outperformed them all in light airs.

Notable features of this exceptional sloop include Swedish pear wood lining the magnificent interior, a state-of-the-art AV system, new eC6 rigging, and 3Di sails. Her spacious and comfortable cockpit is protected by a generous, folding, semi-permanent sprayhood. SILVERTIP has been under the same ownership since its inception, receiving meticulous care and maintenance.

SILVERTIP offers three luxurious and comfortable cabins, accommodating up to 7 guests. The Owner’s cabin provides a beautiful retreat, alongside a double cabin and a twin cabin. The yacht also accommodates a crew of 4 for a seamless charter experience.
