AKIKO: Relaunching in the Australian Charter Market

Ocean Alliance is excited to reintroduce AKIKO to the Australian charter market after completing a significant refit in December 2022. The improvements include an aft deck and transom extension, a complete interior refit, and full exterior paintwork.

The 34m Alloy yacht is undergoing an extensive refit and will be ready for charter in Western Australia and The Kimberley from January 2023.

 

AKIKO is a custom-built expedition yacht with a cruising speed of 10.0 kn, while her gross tonnage of 281 GT and a 7.8 m beam. She features slick exterior lines designed by Gregory Marshall.

She accommodates 10 guests over 5 cabins, with the master cabin stretching the full beam of the superyacht across the main deck. In addition, AKIKO features spacious living areas with full-height windows, so guests do not miss the passing views. With warm colours that represent Australia, her interior is strikingly-modern and luxurious.

Onboard AKIKO features a one-of-a-kind art gallery with collections from Melanesia, and Australian Aboriginal artworks, creating a general Pacific feel.

AKIKO will take you off the beaten track as she explores The Kimberley on the West Coast of Australia. The Kimberley is the best-kept secret with its rugged western wilderness and rich culture; this destination tempts superyachts with the prospect of unforgettable expeditions.

Onboard AKIKO, guests can experience the freshwater holes, majestic canyons and waterfalls while cruising The Kimberley. Due to the large size of The Kimberley, an abundance of wildlife exists along the way, such as an array of bird life and native animals, including prehistoric saltwater crocodiles and barramundi.
