GO BIG, GO REMOTE

11 January 2022

In the past two years many of us have seen their holidays cancelled and getaway plans getting postponed to an unknown date.

This year, hopefully, will be the year of the comeback, where finally we can take our time off for some well awaited self-care.

Make sure, though, that if you are planning a yacht charter, you won’t hold anything back! It’s time to go big, and go remote.

See here some of the most exciting superyachts cruising in far away areas, from the Arctic region to the South Pacific waters.

RAGNAR

She is surely an eye-catcher, RAGNAR is an ice breaker designed by Royal Niestern Sander, that went through a million-dollar refit by Icon Yachts in 2020.

Her 68.2 meters host a BigBo amphibious ATV, SeaDoos, snowmobiles and an Airbus EC145 for the most daring adventures that her 12 guests will be part of.

RAGNAR doesn’t only offer thrilling experiences, she is also equipped with a spa centre complete with massage room, sauna, steam room and foot spa.
Guests can also luxuriate in the top deck jacuzzi and the C deck pool.

This incredible vessel will take you from the Northern European landscapes during Winter, to the Antarctica breath-taking glory if you choose to charter in the summer months.

BLEU DE NîMES

Cruise the Red Sea or the Indian Ocean with BLEU DE NIMES for some rainbow-coloured dives!

This 1980 ex Navy Ship has been converted to an impressive 20,000 nautical mile cruising superyacht.
Her four-year rebuild completed in 2020, transformed BLEU DE NIMES in a 72.1 meters vessel, which boasts a helipad, a cinema, two Jacuzzis and a wellness centre.

She is known to be an active yacht, last spotted chartering near the Seychelles.

LA DATCHA

With six decks and an ice-classed hull, LA DATCHA has some serious attitude on the world’s seas.

Among her equipment there are two helicopters, snowscooters, expedition RIBs and beach lander tenders for exploring ashore, as well as a three-person submarine for discovering the depths.

The Turkish Hammam and the ice fountain shower are some of the highlights for the lucky 12 guests, often taken to far Russia, venturing to the volcanic peninsula of Kamchatka.
You don’t want to miss the wildlife here, such as brown bears and beluga whales.
